Watch the Fireworks from the Comfort of your Room

Last time we introduced 20-days of fireworks, but there are even more events to enjoy. The photo is from the August 10th Toro Nagashi, a Buddhist ceremony in which paper lanterns are set a drift on the water. The flickering lights make for a surreal scene. There are also attractions for the kids to enjoy on the beach.

With Kamogawa Sea World located nearby, the area is a popular family travel destination.
